I love my new furever home.

Gracie is doing very well.  She is learning manners, learning that potty outside means good girl and a delicious treat and sleeping on the big bed beats sleeping in a crate.  Though when she gets tired from all the day’s shenanigans, she lays in her crate, door open, and takes a nap.  She loves to play outside and is an impressive grasshopper hunter! She is an adventurer and dives under the water to play ball in her kiddie pool.  She adores her big brother, Jax, and follows him everywhere.  She will “help” him with his toy by chewing on the opposite end… while he is chewing his end.  She is a smart, silly, loving little pup and she has brought so much joy to me exactly when I needed it most.  She is a blessinge and I love her to bits!  (We all do.)

I am so lucky.  I was adopted by good friends of LSWR and past adopters.  They took one look at me and it was all over…love at first sight.  I have a big sister and two furry playmates to keep up with.  Awh, life is grand!

Lone Star Westie Rescue has heard from Mitzi’s new family and we are happy to report that Mitizi is adjusting very well to her new life.  She has many favorite places in her new home but her top choice is the recliner.  She spent the July 4th holiday with family, friends and some new doggie pals and did great with the other dogs.  Her new family reports that she has taken over the house and told us, “we love her so much and we can tell she is happy here with us.”  Another success story at Lone Star Westie Rescue – Helping Westies in Need.

We are so in love and so happy with our new mum.  You can see it in our faces that we are two happy little girls.  What a dream we are living.  Thank you Lone Star Westie Rescue for the service you provide and for bringing us into our mum’s life.  We are the shining stars and she is the best Mum on the planet.

This is my new mom Barb!  She is my very own special angel.  Do you believe in miracles?  I certainly do. She filled my broken heart with love and understanding.  I am so smitten with her and vice versa.
