  1. I’m curious about Annie. I guess the first question is why has she been with you so long? Is there a reason prospective adopters have not agreed to take her? Is she on medication, and approximately how much does it cost? I have to find out if I can afford her.

Now a little about me. I am retired, living in Chandler TX in a two bedroom apt, on the ground floor. It’s a senior community made up of 74 apts that will be expanding some time in the future.

On March 28, 2001 a Westie puppy was born, and 10 weeks later I was able to purchase him. I named him Dylan and he lived with me until his death March 25, 2019, missed his 18th birthday by 3 days. He died in my arms and I was able to bury him here on the property, so he is near me. My husband died the year before I found Dylan, and he became my constant companion, except for those days when I went to a job. I miss him. Shortly after I got him, professional dog photographers parked beside my motorhome, and wanted to take his picture. They took a bunch, in 3 locations and those pictures appeared in professional calendars until 2015. I think there were about a dozen. I have them hanging on the walls of my apt so that I can take a peek anytime I want!

Dylan became leash trained very quickly and whenever we traveled, and we did a lot of that, he had a leash on him even in the car. I trained him to go outside, by taking him out every 2 hours 24 hours a day. It didn’t take long. But I don’t want to go through that again. I want a senior dog who probably isn’t what the mainline population would want. They need love and can still give it. Can you tell me where Annie is being fostered? I would like to visit her for a while and see how we get along before I do an application, if that is possible.

  2. i am writing to enquire about Duffy (if he is still adoptable). Please send me details regarding his specific dietary food requirements and preparation.

    Thank you.

  3. I would like to make a donation as a memorial to Karen Clausson’s beloved “Sadie”. Would it be possible for it to be noted that it is in memory of “Sadie, please? Thank you.
