Winston the Westie
Hi there! I’m Winston, a 2‑year‑old West Highland White Terrier, and I’m ready to start the happiest chapter of my life—hopefully with you. I needed a fresh start through no fault of my own, but I promise my bright spirit and loving heart are very intact.
I came into Lone Star Westie Rescue when my previous owner could no longer care for me. When I first arrived, I had some mild skin irritation caused by flea allergies, but thanks to the wonderful LSWR team, that’s all under control now and I’m feeling so much better.
As a true Westie, I’m curious, confident, and full of personality. I enjoy being as close to my people as possible tagging along from room to room, soaking up affection, and keeping a watchful eye on daily activities. I just turned 2 years old on April 3, and I’m a loving, devoted little guy who bonds quickly with my humans. Although I do well with other dogs, I’m happiest when I’m right next to my person.
I’m continuing to learn my potty‑training manners and am making progress. At night, I sleep nicely in my crate and settle in without a fuss. I’m neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. I’m still learning about the world, so I’d do best in a home that has the time, patience, and love to show me all the new and wonderful things life has to offer.
