It is funny how things turn out…I was so sad and now I am so happy. I came to LSWR when my human owner became ill and no one in the immediate family could take care of me. I was not in very good shape and in need of grooming, so I went straight to the vet’s office for an exam, bath and haircut. My hair was so matted, but thanks to my haircut out came a beautiful sweet Anna. I am so thankful LSWR welcomed me with open arms.
My foster mom noticed that I was breathing heavily when I first arrived in foster care, so my doctor ran tests and sonograms to check my lungs and heart. I was diagnosed with hypertension and will have to take a couple of meds for the rest of my life. I am so happy to tell you that I have responded great to my meds (Enalapril, Vetmedin and Salix) and I’m even more spunkier now!!
I get along great with other dogs and love people and have great house manners. I warm up quickly and like my crate. When I first came in, I spent a lot of time in my cozy crate but now I’m exploring more and playing with my furry friend. I am a SO very sweet I’m afraid I may just melt!! Did I mention I LOVE meal time? Well I most certainly do!! I am estimated to be about 10 years, microchipped, and current on my shots. I have the sweetest disposition and know I will instantly nudge my way into your heart.
I am looking for a family who has lots of time to spend with me and who will love me as much as I love them. Please visit lswr.us and ask for Anna.
XOXO Sweet Anna
