Cassie’s Happy Tail
One thing you can always count on with a Westie is tenacity. Therefore, it is no surprise that here at Lone Star Westie Rescue we feel like Cassie was holding out – determined to wait for that perfect family. But, who could blame her. Once you’ve been fostered at the wonderful home of Mary and Stephen, you pretty much get picky about your future. Cassie’s new family is beaming with joy that Cassie decided to rescue them. It’s been reported that Cassie will soon be sporting her OU t-shirt in time for the Texas/OU weekend. That’s a little hard to swallow for “us” Texas fans, but we look forward to seeing Cassie help her family root on the Sooners. We have no doubt that her “furever” family will adjust quickly to her love and devotion.

Hello, ok 2 years has gone by since the love of my life past away, not my husband but my Westie Bonnie.
I’m ready! I don’t want to spend another day without some Westie kisses and mischief. I would rather have a female and I’m open to an older dog. My husband has a Golden doodle that is only a year old but that’s his dog and it’s hard to hold 75 lbs in your lap. I look forward to hearing from you guys.
