Willow

Hi everyone,
I’m Willow and I’m looking for my forever home. I’m just under 10 pounds and estimated to be about 1 year old. Not sure how I landed at a local shelter, but I was so scared, that they rallied to get me into a foster care program with LSWR and here I am. I’ve learned to overcome that fear and now I show true best buddy potential ever since.
I’m in a foster home with 3 other pups and I love playing with the young little Westie rascal. I took to my foster dad right away and my foster mom gave me my space, didn’t push me for attention until I was ready. Once I trusted them both, I became so affectionate and cuddly. I will need someone that will be patient with me in training and obedience like all puppies need and help me get over of being afraid of new things. My foster mom says I’m easy to handle when I have trust in a person. I’m good on a leash, baths, nail trimmings, pretty much anything my foster parents ask of me at home. I’m still working on learning to trust my vet. I bark at strangers who visit us but I’m getting so much better at this. I even go to the home improvement stores for practice. I love the outdoors and chasing all those pesky squirrels.
I would love a family to call my very own that has the time and patience for this cute little pup. I’d love another doggie pal, a fenced in yard and no children as they would probably scare me.
If you have time, patience, and love for cute little Willow, please visit LSWR.us to complete an online application and ask for me, Willow.
Puppy kisses,
Willow
