(Adopted) Chip Looking for His Furever Home:

Meet our newest intake at LSWR. He is currently in foster care after being rescued from a local shelter. Chip is approximately five years old, housebroken, and gets along with other dogs. His foster mom says that he is a sweet little boy. However, Chip has a little bit of work ahead of him because he wasn’t given his heart worm care and he now has to undergo treatment. He started his treatment on January 5th and is eager to find a home.

Rooney Needs a “Furever” Home (Update)

It’s me Rooney. Foster mum took a few more pictures of me now that my hair is growing in a bit. I heard some whispering the other day that I might not be a full Westie because me ears don’t stand up and no one knows what the ole hair will look like when it comes back. Well let me tell you something, I play like a Westie and I love like a Westie. I’ve got me a little play mate and we are having a blast. I am two years old and all I think about is playing. I’m working on getting my faux-westie-ears to cooperate a little bit better. I’ll get back to you when I can get em to stand up. I am the best boy on the planet and can’t wait to shower my new family with love and laughter.

Love Roon (that is short for Rooney)

*Note from LSWR – if you are able to visit Rooney, please do not let him know that he is not a full-blooded Westie. It really hurts his feelings.

Hello everyone, my name is Rooney and I just arrived.  I am an adorable 2 year old, neutered terrier mix, potty trained, current on all my shots and micro-chipped.  I am a fun-loving boy, full of life and high spirits and an all around great dog.  Oh, and I forgot to say I am cute and very smart, too.  I was left alone on a deserted country road to fend for myself but a very nice Samaritan scooped me up and contacted LSWR to help me.

I am a great little guy and am very grateful for my second chance at a happy life.  If you are looking for a great companion and a sweet boy, I would love to hear from you!

XOXO Rooney
